About Me
Specialties:
Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, Families
CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, Parenting Support
My professional experience includes 10+ years of working with youth and families in a wide range of areas, including school-based therapy, community-based work through a wraparound team, intensive outpatient programs, and in crisis residential treatment centers. I have extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents, families, and young adults as well as clinical supervision and oversight to graduate students and new therapists. I also work as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of San Francisco teaching graduate students who are becoming therapists.
It is my strong belief that it really does “take a village” when caring for children and adolescents. I am committed to supporting you and your village in whatever ways you need me to - including but not limited to collaboration with school staff, other mental health or medical providers, and trusted adults or extended family members.
When working with young adults, I strive to support your growth and help you successfully navigate through new life experiences during an important time of change and transition. Becoming an adult is fun, overwhelming, exciting, and terrifying all at once, and I’m eager to support you as you determine what your own unique goals and values are.
My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and collaborative with an emphasis on supporting each individual in amplifying their own unique strengths. You are the expert on your life (and your child) - I am honored to be a small part of your team.
